Ally comes to you equipped with over 25 years’ experience in major event planning, specialising in corporate events. During her time as an event planner, Ally has worked with a number of major Melbourne corporations and government departments, as well as countless businesses in the private sector. She has extensive experience planning for events large and small, and is dedicated to coming up with fresh and innovative ways to wow your guests.  She pays close attention to every detail and works hard behind the scenes to make your event flawless from beginning to end. Years of exceptional service has earned her the reputation of being dependable and trustworthy, gaining the confidence of all of our distinguished clients. 

Ally’s job is to ensure everything related to your event is taken care of – from idea conception to menu-planning and day-of logistics. Ally believes in creating food experiences, not just filling bellies, and in bringing your unique visions to life. She is an expert at working within budgets, and ensuring all your requirements – no matter how out-of-the-box – are met with finesse! 

Your Major Event Planner will:

  • Liaise with you throughout the entire catering process – from the moment you express your interest in working with Impressive Platters, to the clean-up at the completion of the event
  • Assist in creating a catering experience tailored to your unique vision, which will be remembered long after its over
  • Assist in planning a menu to reflect the vision and purpose of the event, ensuring there is a wide variety of foods and beverages to please everyone in the room
  • Work closely with you to ensure all special dietary requirements are met
  • Ensure your event is furnished with all the necessary catering equipment such as tables, chairs, linens, silverware, special presentation platters, buffet warmers, etc. 
  • Work within your specified budget to ensure our high standard of food quality and service are always met
  • Work with our trusted business partners to ensure you have only the most professional and highly qualified personnel, such as our wait and bar staff
