On-going Training Sessions

On-going training sessions are a fantastic way to educate the team in a social and team-bonding environment, and provide a break from the everyday office routine! They also allow for opportunities to network, strengthen company culture, and make memories that will be discussed, and laughed about,
for years to come.

However, we understand difficulties can arise when a training session lasts throughout an entire day, and sometimes for weeks at a time. Do your guests require BreakfastMorning tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea and Evening nibbles each day? Do you have food holding facilities and ample storage? And how can you possibly plan a full daily menu for such a large amount of people, all with varying dietary and taste preferences?

Deep breaths – we’ve got you covered! We love a challenge, so nothing excites us more than the opportunity to plan a whole-day menu over an extended period of time. Our large variety of gourmet finger foods and mouth-watering cuisines lend themselves beautifully to these types of events.

Check out our All Day Training Sets – a collection of ready-to-go set menus expertly designed by us to take the stress out of your planning...(seriously, check them out – you and your stress levels won’t be disappointed).

WHAT WE OFFER:

THINGS TO CONSIDER:

  • Breakfast – catering for a breakfast session is a great incentive to get people to the training on time, especially when it’s an early start!
  • Size of training session – how many people are you catering for? Whether 10, or 1,000, we’ve got you covered! Remember to always overestimate your head count to allow for last minute attendees.
  • Budget – you may decide to create a ‘per-attendee’ budget to streamline the process. We can create a menu to suit a budget of anywhere from $10 to $100 per attendee.
  • Pace – all-day catering can help maintain your guest’s focus if food is properly distributed throughout the day. Our advice is to provide small finger-sized foods in-between main meals (morning and afternoon teas), and always have coffee, tea, and water readily available.
  • Purpose/theme – all training sessions are different, and the type of food on offer should reflect and support the overall purpose of the event. For example, is the training event a more intimate affair, where a sit-down boardroom lunch is needed? Or is it a large training session for hundreds of professionals who are happy to stand and eat and mingle as they go? Choose an objective and stick to it. And don’t forget to tell us so we can make the most appropriate suggestions!
  • Time and duration of the training – is breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and evening nibbles required every day? How long would you like each food break to last? Be sure to let us know - this will affect the amount and type of food you will want to provide.
  • What equipment do you have available? Do you need to hire anything, such as tables, coffee machines, crockery, silverware, etc.?
  • Does any element of your event require wait and/or bar staff? Will it suffer without this service?
