Placing an Order

 

We make placing an order extremely easy at Impressive Platters. We are committed to making all facets of your catering experience as quick & relaxed as possible – from ordering to clean-up. We are happy to offer the following ordering options for your convenience:

 

 

24 hour Online Service 

Shopping online at Impressive is a simple and smooth process, thanks to our user-friendly website.  You may place an order online anytime - (24 hours / 7 days a week) by following these no-fuss steps:

  1. Sit back, relax, and enjoy browsing through our extensive range of products and services
  2. Select the delicious product/s you wish to order
  3. Once selected, a new window will appear. Depending on the product, you may be faced with a few options:
    a. Dietary Requirements – now is the time to select the appropriate dietary version of the product, where available, such as Vegetarian
    b. Select a Type – you may be given the opportunity to select a particular type or flavour of your selected item, such as
        Apple & Cinnamon or Oreo
    c. Quantity – let us know how many items you would like to order. If you’re unsure, please select Recommended Amount and let us do
        the math for you!
  4. Once you have made the appropriate selections, click on Continue to Order Details
  5. Please review your selection and describe any specific requirements or alterations needed in the box provided. When you’re ready, select Proceed to Check Out (or View My Cart if you wish to change or delete items or click the ‘X’ on the top left of the window to continue shopping)
  6. Once Proceed to Check Out is selected, you will be taken to the Would you like to Consider... screen.  You may add products or services before proceeding! See point # 8 below.  
    If you select Continue to Order Details, you will reach the Order Details page...(see point #10)
    OR you may decide to click on the Shopping Cart Icon found on the top right-hand side of your browser and select View Cart where you can edit or remove items, add any special requirements, or alter your quantities. You can also change to Recommended Amount if you decide that you’d like to leave the quantities up to us.  Remember to select Update Cart when you are finished making changes. Also, remember to scroll to the bottom of the page where you can view our personalised suggestions for additional products

  7. When you’re ready, select Place Order
  8. You will be taken to a page that gives you the opportunity to make additional upgrades to services such as Delivery Plus, and Impressive Plus, or consider additional services and products such as our Special Presentation platters, and wait/bar staff
  9. When you’ve finished making your additional selections, click on Continue to Order Details
  10. You’re now ready to enter the final Order Details. This will include your event date and time/s, type of event, and number of attendees. You will also need to provide your company name and details, and delivery and invoice addresses (if different). Please note: If you are an existing member and are logged in using your existing membership details, your company and address details will be pre-filled; you may edit this information if necessary 
  11. Review your details and order summary, then select Submit Order
  12. Congratulations! Your order has been submitted. You will be able to view your order summary on this page and print if desired. You will receive an automatic responder email into your inbox, but must wait to receive an email confirmation from one of our customer service consultants to be sure the order has been processed. If you do not receive our confirmation by 5:00pm, please contact us. 
  13. To ensure most items from our product range are available to you, please try to place your order by 3pm, at least one working day prior to your function. For same-day orders or last-minute requests, please refer to our Express Menu

You will also be given the opportunity to Create An Account, if you haven’t already done so.

24 hour Mobile Service  

From online shopping to booking your next romantic getaway, it’s no secret that in today’s world we use our mobile phones for almost all our internet needs. And it’s no wonder – they’re light, compact, and we can access them anytime, anywhere.

It’s also no secret that we’ve all forgotten, at one time or another, to organise that important catered office lunch for Monday and it’s now…Sunday night. That’s why over here at Impressive Platters we’ve spent months designing the perfect Impressive mobile-friendly website, to allow you to place your order/s wherever, whenever, 24/7.

Our mobile-friendly site is easy to navigate and makes shopping from your phone incredibly easy. There’s nothing you can’t do from our mobile site that you would ordinarily do from your laptop, MAC or PC, so you won’t ever be caught out unable to make a last minute order again!

Placing an order from your mobile phone is much like placing an order from your laptop, MAC or PC! Simply select the items you wish to purchase and follow the prompts. You can view our 24 Hour Online Service help page for more detailed, step-by-step instructions.

Business Hours Phone Service  
For those of you who prefer a more personalised shopping experience, feel free to place your order over the phone! We love chatting to our loyal clients, and are always happy to discuss any queries you may have.

To place an order over the phone, please call us on 03 9320 5000, between 8:30am and 5:00pm AEST, Monday to Friday, to speak to one of our corporate catering consultants. Our exceptional team will take you through the ordering process quickly and smoothly. You may also call outside these hours and leave a message – we will contact you bright and early the following business day! When ordering over the phone, please be prepared to provide the following details:

  1. Your Impressive Membership number (if you have one). If you’re a new client we will create one for you
  2. Date and time of your delivery
  3. Number of expected attendees
  4. Any additional delivery details and instructions, including a primary contact person and their phone number
  5. Order details, with quantities. If you’re unsure of what you’d like to order, or how much to order, our experienced catering consultants will be happy to help!
  6. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a detailed confirmation email. If you would like to make any changes to your order, please call us or respond to this email. If you don’t receive an email by 5pm, please contact us immediately
  7. To ensure most items from our product range are available to you, please place your order by 3pm, at least one working day prior to your function. For same-day orders or last-minute requests, please refer to our Express Menu

 

24 hour Answering Machine Service  
Our Answering Machine is at your service 24 hours / 7 days a week. For all after hours requests, please leave your details and one of our customer service consultants will call you bright and early on the following business day

 

 

24 hour Email Service    
We want to make sure all your needs are catered for, and sometimes ordering via a simple email is the way to go! Similar to ordering over the phone, please be prepared to provide the following details to [email protected] 

  1. Your Impressive Membership number (if you have one). If you’re a new client we will create one for you
  2. Date and time of your delivery
  3. Number of expected attendees
  4. Any additional delivery details and instructions, including a primary contact person and their phone number
  5. Order details, with quantities. If you’re unsure of what you’d like to order, or how much to order, our experienced catering consultants will be happy to help!
  6. Once you have sent your email, you will receive a confirmation email in return. If you would like to make any changes to your order, please call us or respond to the email. If you don’t receive a response via email by 5pm, please contact us immediately

Business Hours Pickup Service   
If you live close by, have the time to stop by, or simply prefer delivering the goods yourself, we get it! Feel free to pick up your Impressive order direct from our premises in North Melbourne.
